Sandrine Gibson Newsletter | November 2016

Welcome To My November 2016 Newsletter

A time to be thankful. I have a lot to be grateful for this year. I’m especially appreciative of where I live. In San Diego, it’s slightly cooler now, but that just means it’s almost sweater weather with shorts & flip-flops. The Christmas lights are slowly popping up around the neighborhood. I HOPE YOU ALL LIVE IN A MAGICAL PLACE TOO! If not, glad to be of service to you!

My non-business life was as it seems by many – busy and fast! I managed to volunteer weekly at my kids school and on special events. It’s a privilege and an eye opener to help in the classroom.  The kids raised a total of $195 for the school jogathon.  Kylen came in second place in his class (45 laps). And, Maliha came in first as top runner (28 laps). Thank you for your donation!

I just couldn’t get enough of football last month, a little sarcasm. So, I attended my second football game in my life. But this was slightly more special since Eric and I are alumni to the University of Hawaii. Regrettably, we got killed! The score was 0-55 versus San Diego State!! Other than my ego being shattered, it was a fun day with the cousins who’s an alumnus to SDSU!  Kylen and I went to visit my sister’s new home in Big Bear while Maliha and Dad were off camping with the Coyote Nation, Wala Wala. Diane’s house is great, plus it’s right next to an amazing hike! Can’t wait to go back and visit.

Of course, my month wouldn’t be complete without a SUP excursion. I went with my son at the Tamarack Lagoon. It was another amazing adventure and I was sore for days.

The fall celebration is in full swing here at the Gibson’s. My two turkeys didn’t stop being silly and continue to bring joy to our lives. For Thanksgiving weekend, we went up to Los Angeles. It was a pleasant weekend where we share some great moments with our family without too much traffic and we got some rain – yeah. It was great to see everyone. How time flies while you are having fun!

Next week-end we are picking a tree! Stay tuned for the Holiday Events…

REMINDER to my San Diego friends: Encinitas Holiday Parade is this Saturday, December 3 – see you there! The parade begins at 5:30 PM. with a brief appearance by Santa! And, an Exciting appearance by Kylen & Maliha.
(walking the parade with their Indian Guide & Indian Princess Tribe: Sioux & Wala Wala)

My home away from home at RE/MAX At The Coast continues to roll along regardless of the election and this presumably “slow” time of the year. I closed escrow the day after my birthday on a beautiful property in Escondido and had a listing appointment the same week in Encinitas. So, things are moving rather rapidly in my world. The office has had several new listings and closings this month which is good for the moral and business. The spirit and energy in this office is not only contagious but desirable. Our amazing broker, Marilyn Dashe hosted a super fun and successful office social event, a Wine & Paint Party. Laurel Roberts, an agent at our office/resident artist was able to get us to tap into our creative side like true artists. By the end of the night, we all left with our very own masterpiece. I was going to sell mine for $500 but quickly realized it was a pièce de résistance and must be treasured! I guess you’ll have to visit my home to see it.

Don’t forget to come by our office anytime at 732-B N Coast Highway 101, Encinitas, CA 92024

Wishing you all a Happy and Safe Holiday! Please stop by and say hi if you are in the area. I’m here and appreciate all of your referrals!
